Ayano Yokoyama was borned in Nagano, Japan.
She learned modern dance from early childhood.
She was learned contemporary dance and HIPHOP dance.
She has been presenting choreography that collaborate with musician and band since 2006. She has been join a variety of music video and music festival.She also works in other various fields.
She has joined the dance company TOKYO ELECTROCK STAIRS since 2009.
She launched the all-women dance company〈 lal banshees〉 in 2016. She was selected as a finalist for the Toyota Choreography Award for the company’s first piece, and their second was performed at noted venue Theater Tram.
She has developed a unique choreography style based in hip-hop and modern dance techniques, featuring neutral expressions and a deep relationship between sound and movement.
Yokoyama draws on her aesthetic sensitivity for her work, creating her own music and set design.
She embodies a music-focused dance that fancifully isolates mundane moments and brings them back to reality.

長野山奥で幼少よりモダンダンステクニックを使ったかなり自由な？ダンスを始める。田村尚子師事。
国内外での舞台活動の他、ミュージシャンやバンドとのパフォーマンスや、MV・ライブの振付を行う。
ダンスカンパニー [東京ELECTROCK STAIRS] メンバーとして全作品に出演(2009 - 2019)。2016年、女性を中心としたダンスカンパニー[lal banshees]を立ち上げる。
モダンダンス・ストリートダンステクニックをベースとしながら、派生し、個人の感覚に着目した独自のムーヴメントを追求。
生まれ育った自然豊かな風土感覚にインスピレーションを得た感性で、自身で楽曲制作や舞台美術デザインなども行う。
情景を意識した空間作りと、音との繫がりのある緻密な振付で、性別に囚われない中性的なダンスを創作。
見落として通り過ぎてしまうような現実をファンタジックに切り取り、そして現実に戻す音楽的ダンスを体現する。
